Rich Harvest Senior Students Visit AIIMS Jammu
Senior students of Rich Harvest School visited AIIMS Jammu for an educational excursion. The visit provided valuable exposure to advanced medical facilities and healthcare practices. Rich Harvest School Students Shine at 13th SBKF Goa
RHS students have brought laurels to the institution by winning 5 Gold and 3 Silver medals at the 13th SBKF Goa tournament, held from May 27th to June 4th. The students excelled in Wushu, Skating, and Athletics (100m race), showcasing exceptional skills and sportsmanship. Congratulations to Our Champions! The School Management, Principal, faculty, and students congratulate the medalists on their outstanding achievement, commending their dedication, hard work and perseverance.

Rich Harvest School Students Explore Cutting-Edge Labs at IIT Jammu
RHS students embarked on an enriching educational trip to IIT Jammu, visiting state-of-the-art Chemistry, Bioengineering, and Tinkering Labs. Through hands-on experience with advanced equipment and technology, students' curiosity and interest in STEM fields were sparked. The visit provided exposure to innovative research and development, inspiring young minds to pursue careers in science and technology. Rich Harvest School Management continues to nurture curiosity and creativity, providing opportunities for experiential learning and growth.

Rich Harvest School Hosts Capacity Building Programme on Active Learning
RHS conducted a workshop on "Active Learning" on June 10th, led by renowned educationist Dr. Kunal Anand, Principal of DPS Udhampur. The session aimed to enhance teaching-learning practices, fostering a more engaging and interactive classroom environment. Ms Anita Bhatia, Head of the Institute, warmly welcomed Dr Anand, a distinguished expert in education known for his innovative teaching methodologies. Dr. Anand discussed innovative strategies for active learning, effective classroom engagement techniques and collaborative learning approaches. The workshop equipped Rich Harvest School educators with valuable insights and tools to create a more dynamic, student-centric learning environment.

Rich Harvest School Hosts CBSE Bhasha Sangam Summer Camp
DAY 1 – Promoting Multilingualism
RHS launched the CBSE Bhasha Sangam Summer Camp on 12th June, a vibrant celebration of India's linguistic diversity. On Day 1, students enthusiastically participated in activities promoting multilingualism while learning the basics of Gurmukhi Students engaged in interactive sessions--basic greetings, alphabets, day to day expressions etc. Around 75 students exploring the richness of the Punjabi culture. The camp aims to foster appreciation, understanding, and proficiency in multiple languages. The Bhasha Sangam Summer Camp will provide a unique opportunity for students to discover India's linguistic treasures and develop essential communication skills. Kudos to our students and faculty for a fantastic start to the camp!
DAY 2: Real-Life Conversations
Students were introduced to simple conversational Gurmukhi used in daily life. They were made to practice short dialogues consisting of common phrases which they used while shopping and traveling which boosted their listening, speaking and role-playing skills.

Students visited a shop and acted like a shopkeeper and customer and communicated in Gurmukhi.

Students acted as bus driver and passengers and practiced mini dialogues using real-life travel language. An amazing way to conclude Day 2 Summer Camp.
Day 3 Highlights
The CBSE Bhasha Sangam Summer Camp at RHS continued its creative journey on Day 3, with students immersing themselves in art, music, and dance activities. Celebrating linguistic diversity through art, students showcased their talents through painting, music, and dance, exploring the rich cultural heritage of Punjab. The activities promoted creativity, self-expression, and appreciation for multilingualism, fostering a deeper understanding of India's linguistic and cultural diversity.
Day 4 Highlights
The Bharatiya Bhasha Summer Camp at Rich Harvest School continued its engaging journey on Day 4, where children explored commonly used vegetables in Gurmukhi through interactive activities, songs, and games. This innovative approach made language learning enjoyable, helping young learners build vocabulary, pronunciation skills, and confidence. The camp's focus on practical, everyday examples strengthened the children's connection with Gurmukhi, making learning a fun experience.
Day 5 Highlights
The Bharatiya Bhasha Summer Camp at RHS continued its vibrant journey on Day 5, focusing on culture appreciation and development of linguistic skills through an engaging movie session. The children watched "Chaar Shehzade," a film that not only entertained but also provided valuable insights into Punjabi culture and values. Through this movie-based activity, the young learners enhanced their listening and speaking skills in Gurmukhi bhasha. The session encouraged them to think critically about the plot, characters and dialogue, promoting a deeper understanding of the language. The movie session fostered cultural appreciation among the children, introducing them to the rich heritage and traditions of Punjab. This exposure will help them develop a stronger connection with their roots and appreciate the diversity of Indian culture. The camp's innovative approach to language learning made the experience enjoyable and interactive for the children. By incorporating popular movies like "Chaar Shehzade" into the curriculum, the camp provides a unique opportunity for young learners to develop their language skills in a fun and engaging way.

Young learners discovered the names of prominent rivers and historical monuments in Gurmukhi, gaining a deeper understanding of India's cultural heritage. Through interactive activities and engaging storytelling, children learned about India's majestic rivers and iconic monuments, such as the Golden Temple (ਸਵਰਨ ਮੰਦਰ) and the significance of rivers like the Ganga (ਗੰਗਾ). This exposure helped them appreciate the country's diverse cultural and geographical landscape. The camp's focus on teaching history and geography in Gurmukhi promoted linguistic and cultural awareness among the young learners. By learning about India's rich heritage in their native language, children developed a stronger connection with their roots. The Day 6 activities demonstrated the camp's commitment to making learning fun and interactive. The session ended on a heartwarming note, with the young learners expressing their gratitude and enthusiasm for continuing their language learning journey.
